A2

The course is intended for those who want to consolidate what they have learned and continue learning the language. You will learn to talk briefly about yourself, your relatives, family customs, favorite foods, pets, and learn the basics of grammar.

B1

The course is intended for those who can communicate briefly on some topics and want to improve their language skills in order to use it in travel and be able to construct more complex sentences.

B2

The course is designed for those who want to move to an intermediate level of language proficiency. In this course, you will consolidate everything you have learned, will be able to write more complex texts and communicate more easily.

Russian language

A1

The course is intended for beginners. This is the minimum level of knowledge of the Russian language, sufficient for a limited number of situations in everyday communication.

A2

The course is intended for those who can communicate in basic Russian quite well. This course will provide knowledge of the Russian language, sufficient for communication in a number of everyday situations. At this level, you can begin communicating confidently in a business environment.

B1

The course is intended for those who already have a good command of the language. This is an average level of proficiency in Russian, which allows you to communicate in everyday, educational and professional spheres.

B2

The course is intended for those who have already reached the intermediate level. B2 is a fairly high level of Russian language proficiency, which allows you to communicate in different areas, for example, in engineering, technical, humanitarian and natural sciences.

Social studies 

Course description

Multiskole Parmenova is authorized by the Norwegian Ministry of Education to provide social studies instruction in Russian and English. If you need a certificate of completed training from an accredited provider as part of your residence permit application, you can take this course with us. We issue a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education, which is required for applying for permanent residency.

This diploma can replace the need to take an exam to obtain permanent residence. For some categories of citizens, this course becomes mandatory in accordance with new legislation effective from 2024.

The course sessions are held on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 2:15 PM on the Zoom platform with an authorized instructor. The format of the sessions includes lectures, as well as working on assignments and quizzes in small groups with other students, followed by a discussion with the instructor.

Attendance at all course sessions is mandatory.

The course consists of three modules. Choose between 50 school hours (2 modules) or 75 hours (3 modules).

  • Module 1 (25 hours): The Norwegian education system and working life.
  • Module 2 (25 hours): Family life and the healthcare system.
  • Module 3 (25 hours): Norwegian history, politics, human rights, and geography.
